Noida Traffic Police Issues Advisory for Vehicular Movement Ahead of Trade Show and MotoGP Race

The Noida Traffic Police has released a traffic advisory in preparation for the upcoming international trade fair and MotoGP race. The advisory includes restrictions on vehicular movement along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway from September 21 to 25.
According to the advisory, heavy, medium, and light goods vehicles traveling from Delhi to Gautam Buddha Nagar will have limited entry and movement starting from 6 a.m. on Thursday. In addition, heavy vehicles will be prohibited from using the DND Flyway, Chilla Road, Kalindi Kunj, New Ashok Nagar, and Jhundpura borders.
Both the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Yamuna Expressway will be off-limits to buses, heavy vehicles, and non-commercial vehicles, except for those transporting essential goods such as milk, vegetables, and medicines.
The advisory also mentions that traffic restrictions will be implemented near Pari Chowk, and vehicular movement across the city will be impacted. To assist with traffic-related matters during the summit, the Noida traffic police have established a helpline number (9971009001 and 9355057381). Commuters are encouraged to utilize the metro system during the specified dates.
Increased Metro Train Frequency for UP International Trade Show
The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) will be increasing the frequency of trains on the Aqua Line during the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show, taking place from September 21 to 25. Rakesh Kumar, chairman of India Expo Centre and Mart, announced that entry for the general public will be free from 3 pm to 8 pm.
Under normal circumstances, metro trains on the Aqua Line operate at intervals of 10 minutes. However, during peak hours (8 am to 11 am and 5 pm to 8 pm), the trains run every 7.5 minutes. Additionally, NMRC mentioned that parking facilities will be available at eight Aqua Line metro stations: Sector 51, Sector 76, NSEZ, Sector 142, Sector-137, Pari Chowk, Alpha 1, and Delta 1.
