The highly anticipated release of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Tiger 3 is drawing attention as it is expected to make a massive impact at the box office. As per trade analyst Sumit Kadel, the film is estimated to have a “monstrous” first week, with a predicted business of around Rs 330 crore (nett).
Set to hit theaters on Diwali, November 12, Tiger 3 is already making waves with its advance bookings, selling over 3 lakh tickets within the first week. Taran Adarsh, another trade analyst, has also highlighted the film’s strong performance in advance booking, stating that “no Hindi film has dared to open on Diwali Day in more than a decade.” This is especially noteworthy as it is rare for film business to thrive during evening shows on Diwali.
The film’s production house, Yash Raj Films (YRF), has announced early showings for Tiger 3, starting at 7 am across the country on November 12. Responding to demands from fans of the YRF Spy Universe who wish to avoid spoilers, YRF also revealed that advance bookings for the film will open from November 5th.
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 is the third installment in Yash Raj Films’ OG spy franchise. While fans are eagerly anticipating the onscreen reunion of Tiger and Zoya (played by Katrina Kaif), there is also speculation about a cameo appearance by Shah Rukh Khan’s character from “Pathaan” in Tiger 3. The film also features Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist, along with Kumud Mishra, Revathi, Riddhi Dogra, and Anant Vidhaat.
Chirag Sehgal, a Sub Editor at News18 who covers Bollywood, television, and K-pop group BTS, reported on these developments. All eyes are now on the release of Tiger 3, as it is poised to make a significant impact in both the Indian and international markets.
