According to the Rockstar Insider Tez2, who previously leaked early development footage of GTA 6 on GTAForums, the game is expected to launch in Spring 2025. However, Tez2 also noted that Rockstar has a history of delaying their game releases, so it’s possible that the launch could be pushed to the latter half of 2025.
As for the announcement, the Insider predicted that it could coincide with Rockstar’s anniversary, possibly between late November and early December, or in February.
These revelations align with previous leaks suggesting a 2024 or 2025 launch for GTA 6. Industry insiders had previously speculated that Take-Two Interactive could officially announce GTA 6 in May 2025 during an investor call, but this did not come to fruition. Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier and Call of Duty leaker Tom Henderson have also voiced support for a 2025 release.
In light of these developments, analysts at Raymond James have upgraded the stock of Take-Two Interactive, hinting at an exciting 2025 and beyond. This further strengthens the possibility of a GTA 6 release in 2025.
